THE BUYER'S GUIDE / SELECTION
A buyer-focused guide to choosing a PVC sheet for tank fabrication, chemical equipment, electrical insulation and panel work. It explains when Baoding Lida Plastic Industry Co., Ltd.'s PVC Laminated Sheet fits, which published size, color and surface options to check, how to treat the listed RoHS, REACH and UL94 V0 references, and when the PVC clear sheet or PVC soft sheet is the better fit.
Application fit: rigid tanks, towers, plating barrels, lab and etching equipment, electrical insulation plates, signboards, wall cladding and door panels are listed applications for PVC Laminated Sheet
Process conditions: published properties are qualitative (corrosion, temperature and impact resistance, insulation, low flammability); request numeric data for specific chemicals and temperatures
Dimensions: published thickness 0.1–70 mm, width 1000–1800 mm, length 1000–3000 mm; other sizes and cut-to-size available on request
Color and surface: gray or white, glossy; other colors on request
Compliance: RoHS, REACH and UL94 V0 are listed on the product page; request current documents that cover the ordered grade
Fabrication: CNC-milled parts available on request from drawings
Transparency or flexibility needs point to PVC clear sheet or PVC soft sheet instead
Buying a PVC sheet for tanks, process equipment or insulation panels goes more smoothly when you start with the application, not the catalog. This guide uses the published product information from Baoding Lida Plastic Industry Co., Ltd. to explain where its PVC Laminated Sheet fits, which specifications to confirm before you order, and when a different PVC sheet type is the better choice.
The PVC Laminated Sheet product page lists these application areas:
If your project is a rigid, opaque structure such as a tank, tower, enclosure or insulating plate, the laminated sheet is the product to look at first. If you need transparency or a flexible material, see Section 5.
The product description lists these characteristics for PVC Laminated Sheet: corrosion resistance, insulation performance, ease of thermoforming and fabrication, temperature and impact resistance, high strength and low flammability.
These are qualitative statements. The laminated sheet page does not publish numeric values for tensile strength, impact strength, softening temperature or chemical resistance to specific media. If your design depends on a particular acid concentration, operating temperature or load, ask for a data sheet or test data for the exact grade and thickness before you approve it. Do not assume that a general claim of corrosion or temperature resistance covers your process conditions.
Published standard specifications for PVC Laminated Sheet:
| Item | Published value |
|---|---|
| Thickness | 0.1 mm – 70 mm |
| Width | 1000 mm – 1800 mm |
| Length | 1000 mm – 3000 mm |
| Color | Gray, white |
| Surface | Glossy |
According to the product page, other sizes, colors and larger formats are available on request, as are sheets cut to your required size. The page lists a standard width of up to 1800 mm and also refers to formats wider than 1500 mm as on-request items, so confirm in writing whether the width you need is standard or special. Lead times, minimum quantities and pricing are not published. Discuss these directly with the supplier.
Under "Standards for PVC laminated sheet", the product page lists:
If your market or customer requires these, ask for the current certificates or test reports and check that they cover the grade, color and thickness you are ordering. A listing on a product page is not a replacement for documents you can file.
For fabricated components, the page says milled parts can be produced from the PVC sheet on CNC milling centers. To get a quotation, send a sketch or construction drawing with the quantity you need.
The laminated sheet comes in gray or white with a glossy surface. It is not described as transparent or flexible. Two other PVC sheet products from the same supplier may suit those needs better:
| Need | Better candidate | Published notes |
|---|---|---|
| Transparency for display, guards or decoration | PVC clear sheet | Thickness 2–20 mm, width 1000–1300 mm, any length; transparent or colored; glossy; cutting service. Typical data published, e.g. density 1.4 g/cm³, transmittance 83%, Vicat softening temperature 67.5 °C. |
| Flexible lining, gaskets, flooring or curtains | PVC soft sheet | Thickness 2–6 mm, width 1000–1300 mm, any length; white or green standard colors. Applications listed include linings for erosion-resistant equipment, sealing gaskets, erosion-resistant and electrical insulation floors, and door curtains. |
The clear sheet's published Vicat softening temperature of 67.5 °C is a useful reminder that PVC sheet has thermal limits. Confirm your maximum service temperature for whichever product you choose.
Working through these checks before you request a quote makes it much easier to judge whether PVC Laminated Sheet, or another PVC sheet, fits your project.
